Check back frequently for information on upcoming scholarship opportunities. Remember to pay close attention to deadlines. Schools have their own deadlines for scholarship opportunities, so check your potential school's website frequently for due dates. Also, check the bulletin board outside of Student Services for specific scholarship information from your home districts.

Scioto Foundation Scholarships: Please visit the following link to access scholarships available through the Scioto Foundation: www.sciotofoundation.org . Needed Items in order to complete available scholarships: Current transcript, 1 Letter of Recommendation from a school faculty member, 1 Letter of Recommendation from a community member, Some scholarships may require additional letters of recommendation, Essay(s) may also be a requirement.  Application Window: November 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026. 

The Ohio Township Association Scholarship Program: Applicants must be high school seniors, reside in an Ohio township, and plan to attend a college, university, or trade/vocational school in Ohio. The OTA uses outside, impartial evaluators to administer the program and select the winners. In order to apply, please follow the provided link: https://www.ohiotownships.org/scholarship-program . When accessing the site, you will see that there are 3 available scholarships, specifically a Trade Scholarship. Deadline: January 31, 2026. Engineers Foundation of Ohio Scholarship. This is a great opportunity for students wishing to pursue a degree in the Engineering field. The application is a pdf fillable form and can be accessed by following the provided link: https://ohioengineer.com/index.php/Students-Educators/Scholarships . Deadline: February 15, 2026 (5:00 pm). Please email or stop by and see Mrs. Sand in Student Services with any questions. 

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship. DAR's scholarship is an opportunity for any senior currently attending the CTC. The scholarship requires an essay component which will be proctored by Mrs. Sand on Wednesday, October 1st. In order to participate, students will be required complete a Google Form no later than Friday, September 26th. This form will be emailed to senior students via their SCCTC school emails. The winner of the essay contest will have additional documents to develop and gather for submission by October 29, 2025. Elks Lodge #154 - Most Valuable Student Content. The application can be found by visiting enf.elks.org/MVS. Requirements: Current high school senior; applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks. Scholarships are available only to students who enroll in 4 year undergraduate degree programs at accredited U.S. American colleges or universities. Deadline: November 12, 2025. Winners will be announced in April 2026. Please stop by Student Services and see Mrs. Sand with any questions. 

Builder's Exchange of Central Ohio. The application and requirements can be found by visiting: https://bx.org/scholarships.php. Students wishing to apply for the available scholarship must intend to pursue a degree in either construction or engineering field. Deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026 (4:00 pm). Please stop by Student Services or see Mrs. Sand with any questions! 

The Jim Pinchak Memorial Scholarship for CTE Seniors. This scholarship is dedicated solely to CTC seniors who are currently enrolled in a career-technical education program. The scholarship can be used to pursue: a college degree, adult workforce development training (post-secondary at a CTC), and A CTE career or apprenticeship program. Two seniors are eligible to receive an award in the amount of $1,000. Ohio Natural Energy Foundation Scholarship. Minimum requirements - U.S. Citizen, must have a career goal in the natural gas or oil industry, and must be an OHIO resident. The application is in Mrs. Sand's office and can provide a copy upon request. Deadline: March 1, 2026. Please stop by Student Services or see Mrs. Sand with any questions! 

Atomic Credit Union Scholarship. Requirements: Must be a 2026 graduating senior, must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, must be an atomic credit union member, students will be required to submit a transcript, students must plan on enrolling in an accredited college as a full-time student in the summer or fall of 2026, must complete a 200 word essay explaining how the student ran program has helped them become more financially knowledgeable. Engineers Foundation of Ohio College Scholarship. Requirements: be a graduating high school senior, have at least a 3.0 GPA, meet the minimum ACT test scores as set by the National Society of Professional Engineers, and be a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of the state of Ohio. Deadline: February 15, 2026. Stop by Student Services and receive a copy of the scholarship today if you're interested or have any questions! 

Bluegrass Community Foundation's Stewart Family Scholarship. Renewable $2,000 scholarship available! Requirements: Must reside within Boyd, Carter, or Greenup Counties in Kentucky OR Lawrence or Scioto County in Ohio, must hold a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, must demonstrate outstanding character as evidenced by work ethic and service to others, must plan to attend an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or technical school, must demonstrate financial need. Deadline: March 6, 2026. You may apply by visiting the link provided: https://www.bgcf.org/scholarships/ . There is also a flyer available in Student Services. Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth Scholarship. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to current seniors who plan to attend Shawnee State University. Information and the application can be found at http://bit.ly/KPScholarship . Requirements: must be a member of the graduating class of 2026, must reside in and attending a Scioto County school, and must rank within the top 1/3 of the graduating class, completed Certification of Eligibility (completed by Mrs. Sand), high school transcript and TWO Letters of Recommendation. Please note that once you complete the application, you will need to let Mrs. Sand know in order for her to be able to complete the required Certification of Eligibility. Deadline: February 28, 2026. Ajay Stiles Memorial Scholarship. There is a $1,500 scholarship available for graduating seniors from Scioto County, Eastern Pike, and Western Pike. If selected, the scholarship funds will be disbursed upon submission of proof of enrollment at an accredited higher education institution. Southern Ohio Healthcare Alliance Scholarship. There is a $500 scholarship opportunity! Requirements: Current high school senior residing and attending school in Scioto or Lawrence Counties, Must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, accepted into a 2-4 year and plan to pursue a healthcare related career, two letters of recommendation must be submitted - one from a community member and one from a school representative, 250 word essay outlining your future goals and why you deserve the scholarship, and include a transcript which shows your GPA and ACT scores. Ethan C. Pauley Memorial Scholarship. Please follow the provided link in order to apply for the available scholarship. Time Out for Me, INC. Scholarship. The 2026 Scholarship Application is available in Student Services with Mrs. Sand. An emailed copy of the scholarship can also be provided upon request.
