State law requires districts and community schools to administer the state-funded ACT or SAT to all grade 11 students in the spring of the school year. Each year, districts and schools will select the test to administer to their juniors.
*Beginning Spring 2025 for the Class of 2026, a parent or guardian can exercise the option for their student not to take the state-funded ACT or SAT as indicated in House Bill 82.
Testing date will be February 25th for the 2024/2025 academic year, with makeup dates in March & April as needed. Those students currently served by an IEP will be given ACT-approved accommodations. A release must be filled out and on file with Mrs. Franke before accommodations can be applied for on the ACT website. A remediation-free score (18 for English, 22 for Reading, and 22 for Math) will allow students to use this towards competency on the EOC tests for ELA II and Algebra I.
