AIM -
I would like all students to bring your individual thinking and research to the workshop, I will then facilitate a conversation with them, to help students build a shared vision of design and what design could do.
1. Split into groups of 2 to interview 3-5 non-designers.
1) What is design to you? Please describe?
2) Have you used design in your work before? How have you used design, where and when? Please describe?
3) What role does design play in your company/organisation? Please describe?
4) What is the value of design to you? Please describe?
5) What do you think of designers? Have you worked with them before? Can you describe the experience?
2. Each student to read at least one book (more is also good!) from the following reading list, any one is good.

3. As a group, please to define: “What is Design?”
各組需針對“What is Design?”
All groups should also create a graphic of a design process. This can be researched, of created by the students. It does not have to be perfect, but I would like you to start thinking about design as a process and a mindset. Please print your definition of design and a visualised design process on an A1 sheet.
