After competing on a few club events with Richard Hunter in his standard road car (and doing rather well), I asked him if his Escort was ready to in put in a last minute entry on the Ryemoore Road Rally. Yes was the answer, so 5 days later I was sat at the start venue in North Yorkshire to do my first Nat B event since my accident in September.
This was a big deal for me but I felt ready and so much wanted to get back in a rally car! My aims were to catch up with all my rally pals, and make it to breakfast by going round the whole route!
Well, it turns out that there was so much paperwork to do over the 130 mile route that I din't have tome to think about anything other than which way to go at the next junction! It was a typical plot and bash Ryemoore, lots to do to keep the nav busy!
I was so happy to get to the finish and to get there 3rd overall was amazing. Hoping that all is now OK for the Rali Lynn with Rich in a few weeks time! Will keep you posted :)
