Science

In my high school picture, the caption reads "the sign of science". I never had a question what I wanted to study in college or what I wanted to have as my career. It turned out to be engineering, electrical engineering. It's an application of specialized physics. In particular is the mysterious forces of nature known as the electromagnetic and gravitational fields. Modern physics gets deep into that area of study. One unfortunate development is the acceptance of theories like the special theory of relativity as fact, and the results of tests as the Michelson - Morley experiments which supposedly proved the non existence of the so-called ether or aether. It is almost as if the theories have become articles of faith in a religious sense. But Albert Einstein himself has stated that an ether does indeed exist. It has properties and space is not empty.
