Automated Lawn mower: Here is a project that has lasted way too long. A simple demonstration of it can be seen at this location: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnQCL6jGIMo It's just a straight line, nothing fancy, but it took a long time to get to that point. Twenty years and several prototypes later, that's what I wound up with.

Here's the latest prototype, Alpha. It goes quite slow considering it has a 1/30 HP drive motor. It's a proof of concept -- to prove that it works. And it does.
