Orlkensor Renathsson - Initiate of Desemborth and Lanbril...
Orlkensor is a thief of the Amad tribe, who range through the most perilous region of Sartar. They have always been surrounded by terrible enemies, and yet have managed to maintain their Orlanthi lifestyle and have established villages and one city, the citadel of Alone. The Amad have to learn many different forms of individual combat simply to survive, since they have Trolls to the north and east, giants and chaos to the north and west, undead to the south, werewolves to the south west, and all of this before the Lunar empire is even considered. This combines to create a fiercely independent tribe who trust few but their own in a situation of mortal peril. Orlkensor was a member of his family thief gang, making a living within the citadel of Alone. A few months ago, the city was secretly invested by Lunar backed, Gagarth worshipping members of the Vantaros tribe who had taken control of Alda-Chur a few years before. The gates were laid open by the windwalking huskarls of King Harvar Ironfist and the city taken from within and without. In the purges that followed, the Ortossi clan was all but destroyed, only Orlkensor and his younger brother surviving. You both sought refuge in Jonstown where you took vows to Orlanth and swore vengeance on the Vantaros.
The Death of Orlkensor...
Orlkensor was slain in the citadel of Elkoi, alongside his brother, Branduan. He fell for the charms of the psychotic daughter of King Glyptus who poisoned him for her own warped pleasure. He didn't die from the poison, however.
He was dragged to the exectutioner's block and murdered by the guards of the Citadel for his 'crimes'.
Orlkensor created much division within the party. Driven by his inner demons, he always followed his emotions, whether it was his burning desire for revenge or his unswerving loyalty to his wayward younger brother.
His headless corpse was hung from the walls of the citadel as sport for the crows. His head rots on a spike by the citadel gate...
