Chun Sa - Grazer Brave
Chun-Sa was a young hunter from the Grazelands. He was a noted horse archer among his tribe and at the age of 12 he brought back a dead bear he had killed on his own. For such bravery he was declared an adult.
He became a key member of a band of warriors led by Vantarl Devotsson, a quiet, sullen, but respected member of the tribe.
Chun-Sa performed the Ritual Of The White Horse Herd and was killed in the Battle of Signal Hill after leading a charge against a Lunar Camp.
The Death of Chun-Sa (Praise be his name!)
Woe! Woe! Woe!
Bring forth the cries and lamentations of the women. There is a sadness in our hearts and the sun weeps with our sorrow.
There now rides to the heavens a bright star, a flash of courage and heroism, a warrior-brave to ride beside Yu-Kargzant.
All should know his name for his deeds will live forever on the tongues of the people of Maregraze. The earth will sing it. The beasts will sing it. The spirits will sing it. The Fates will sing it.
All our people will sing and remember his name.
Children will be born and named after him.
Warriors will give battle in his honour.
Evil and chaos will be slain in his honour.
All shall remember him and give worthy praise to his name and on the anniversary of his death all will look to the sky and say, 'Aye - I remember well the deeds of this man.'
And men will hold themselves cheap that they did not ride with CHUN-SA!
