Kenstral was born in the Apple Lane region of Sartar, where he was orphaned in one of the many inter clan raids that went on in the late 1590’s. Both his parents were slain by raiders from the Malani tribe, and Kenstral was fostered by a tribal Lawspeaker at Clearwine. He was at the battle of Hofstaring’s Flood during Starbrow’s rebellion, and helped oversee the construction of the dam that helped split the Lunar column in two before the massacre. Always valued for his mind, he joined the cult of Lhankor Mhy and went to study in Jonstown. There he became adept at languages and lore and has travelled throughout Sartar, but not much further. His knowledge is very much theoretical, but he has always yearned to join the ranks of the wandering sages, but has always been torn between his ambitions and his academic studies. Now, at the request of Minaryth Purple, the greatest living Gray Sage, he has been sent to assist a group of warriors on a quest to discover the meaning behind an obscure but apocalyptic prophecy. He has been told not only to assist in any way possible, but also to chronicle the events as he sees fit. He may yet have his chance to travel.
Kenstral Dies a Warrior's Death...
Alas, but Kenstral Londarsson was slain in Balazar whilst attempting to plunder a Mostali ruin. He was slain outright by a blow from a Jolanti, which he played no small part in ultimately defeating, sacrificing his own life in the process.
Kenstral was, by trade, a scribe and scholar, offering sacrifice to Lhankor Mhy. He was with the Sartarite forces at Hofstaring's Flood, assisting in the construction of the dyke that was so central to that glorious day.
Since joining the party he had demonstrated a success in combat that was perhaps going to his head. He had even turned to worship of Yelmalio, and was considering turning to the spear to make his living.
Now this is not to be, for his corpse was claimed by the Mostali who chased off Aransar and Orstanor before they could construct a funeral pyre. A lonely and unmarked grave in a foreign and barbaric land is a footnote to the life of many bold adventurers...
