Digital Modes

You can use digital modes like PSK-31, RTTY, FT8 and WPSR with the RS-HFIQ transceiver.

The basic setup uses a Virtual Audio cable to 'connect' the audio input and output of digital mode software to the audio input and output of HDSDR. There are also serial port simulators that allow the digital mode software to activate the HDSDR transmitter.

The document below (RS-HFIQ_HDSDR_FLDIGI.pdf) has step-by-step instructions for setting up FLDIGI, a popular digital mode software suite. The instructions can be used to help setup other software packages as well.
