Drawing was my first love in art. Like most kids, it was through the use of crayon, then pencil and ink that the joy of visually sculpting a format was learned. We enjoyed making op and pop art, cartoons and more academic subjects. Drawing for myself and teaching it to my students is still great fun. Now, new tools are available such as photo-montage work with the computer, rather than the scissors, photographs and glue is fun to work with. It's interesting to have seen this revolution in visual communication, but my favorite is still a pencil or other drawing implement in my hand. How cool is that!
