Have & don’t have to

    • We use ‘have to’ when other circumstances make something necessary.

Example: I have to go to the supermarket (there isn’t any food at home)

    • We use ‘don’t have to’ to mean that we are not obliged to do whatever.

Example: You don’t have to do it because it’s not necessary.
