Welcome

Rochester Mar Thoma Congregation

Welcome to our Congregation in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The Rochester Mar Thoma Congregation (formerly the Mar Thoma Church of Rochester) is under the Diocese of North America and Europe of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar.

Our Congregation conducts worship (Holy Qurbana) services on the 1st Saturday of every month (depending on Achen's availability). Our worship service alternates between two languages, Malayalam and English, each month. We also host an online Bible Study every week.

We invite you to look around this website to know more about us. If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our services. And of course, feel free to reach out to our Vicar or one of our office members.

May our Lord richly bless you.

The Mar Thoma Church was established by St. Thomas, the apostle of Jesus Christ, after his arrival in Cranganore near Cochin, located in the state of Kerala, India in AD 52. It shares a rich heritage with the rest of the churches established throughout the world.
