This book has been created from the Humour section that previously existed on this website.

During nearly thirty years working as a Junior School teacher, and subsequent work with adults with a wicked sense of humour, I collected hundreds of jokes. This book is just a representative sample.

You may have seen some of them elsewhere.

Although I can claim to have created some of the content, who really know where jokes originate? Most of them will have been heard in the retelling by others over and again.

Anyway, trusting not having committed any copyright violations, I hope this book will raise a laugh or two and help to pick you up if you feel down.

Remember: seven days without a pun makes one weak!
