Parking/Registration: Please plan to meet at Chautauqua Ranger Cottage at 9:00 a.m. To avoid parking issues, carpooling is strongly recommended.

Project

The Flatirons Loop Trail passes the junction of an old mining road bed that can often be confused for the trail. The road bed quickly leads to nowhere and most hikers find themselves off trail and creating more impact in the form of social trails. To keep hikers on the trail, New Vista will help construct a stone barrier to guide hikers to stay on the trail and help protect this sensitive area.
