Very few changes from 1971: grbrail changed to all-chrome, rear light tinware either in black or silver; mid-season change on exhaust pipes & cylinder head using 'push-in' pipe system; late-season change eliminated the centre-seam joint on the fuel tank together with the chrome strp that covered it.
