1971 T100R
Only the T100R model was now on offer in either US specification (smaller fuel tank & burgess style silencers) or in UK & General Export specification. Mainly cosmetic changes, adopting some common details from the rest of the Triumph range: Handlebar switchgear, grabrail & attached reflectors, indicators, rear light, megaphone silencers(and bespoke exhaust pipes & pillion footrest brackets) on UK & General Export model. The headlamp mounting ears were now rubber mounted to the top fork shroud & the ammeter was now gone from the headlamp. A shorter rear mudguard was now used. Access plugs were added to the sides of the rocker boxes in a bid to improve access to tappet gap measurement.
Colour Olympic Flame & Black. Turn signals were optional on Canadian models.
The last T100C built was Engine Number GE25135 (6 June 1971)
