Some major changes for the 1969 season including fuel tank change ('picture frame' tank badge, deletion of parcel grid on UK & General export model), twin leading shoe front brake, front fork width, exhaust balancing pipe crankshaft changes (for timing side bearing & quill oil feed), & a strobing port on the primary chain cover. 1969 season bikes commenced with Engine number H65573 and saw the following changes: Camshafts hardened by Nitriding; Theft-proof engine numbering with raised pad on the crankcase with rolled Triumph motif background; balanced clutch housing by deletion of cast pockets; all non-polished components ultrasonically cleaned; addition of a hook screw to retain the fuel tank centre strip; standardised conrod pattern (E8834); changed crankshaft material. Tacho gearbox screw changed to left hand thread. Warning light revision red oil pressure, green hi beam
Mid-season changes:
The first 500 T100Cs retained the 1968 style single leading shoe front brake
At some time during the year a retaining clip was add to the toolbox knob.
From Engine Number H66124: Wiring harness change to accomodate front brake switch for rear brake light.

H67330: Last H prefix numbering system the new numbering system commenced at XC06297
From Engine Number XC06297: Clamping washer fitted between timimg pinion & inner spool of main bearing
From Engine Number XC07583:7in twin leading shoe front brake introduced T100C. Major change from BS threads to unified threads. A new deeper rear chainguard.
Between Engine Number AD07740-AD08884: Incorrect year identification prefix 'D' used on 1145 T100Cs
From Engine Number EC17978: Oil filler plugs fitted with o rings; two spot main bearing fitted. Two drill holes added to front fork stanchions (5/64in dia 1in from bush shoulder & 1in apart).
