First year of the Daytona T100R & Daytona Super Sports T100T. Twin 1 1/8" monobloc carburettors, improved engine specification & revised frame. The sidepanels still retained the 'Tiger 100' cast badge. The US market tank was smaller than the UK & General Export market, which retained the parcel grid that characterised bikes for those markets.
