1968 T100R improvements included use of twin concentric carburettors & on some specifications the use of the 8" single leading shoe front brake.

1968 season bikes commenced with Engine number H57083 & saw the introduction of UNF threads on the front forks

From Engine Number H58191: Permatex 300 gasket sealing compound introduced
From Engine Number H58797: Ignition location holes in crank flywheel changed to 15/64in diameter, Dunlop K70 tyre fitted on Tricor bikes, holes & grooves deleted from oil pump plungers (interim)
From Engine Number H58798: 12 point 'star' (UNF) nut used to secure cylinder barrels to crankcase
From Engine Number H60232: Knee grip rubber 'stick-on' material & thickness change
From Engine Number H60570: holes & grooves deleted from oil pump plungers (final)
From Engine Number H60620: Safety rail added to twinseat on JoMo bikes
From Engine Number H60832: ditto for TriCor bikes
From Engine Number H63307: Front fuel tank mountings: UNF studs & self-lock nuts (Cleveloc) replace bolts, oil tank & crankcase filter change to steel. Rocker oiling system: undrilled rocker arms & ball pins. 1/16in dia hole drilled in swingarm oil seal cover plate allows air to escape when greasing. 'Stat-o-seal' washer for petcock sealing. Cylinder head bolt torque 18lb-ft. Frnt fender lengthened on T100R. T100C coupled upswept exhaust pipes. Strengthened connecting rods. Felt lubrication wicks added to 6CA contact breaker. Exhaust cam taper amended to suit Lucas A/R unit
Between Engine Number H63307 to H63764: May be fitted with a 0.0015in oversize swingarm spindle.
Between Engine Number H63370 to H65056: Last of thin wall cylinder barrels used
From Engine Number H65011: Timing pointer added to primary chaincase & strobe mark on alternator rotor.
From Engine Number H65450: Battery vent tube secured with adhesive
