Revelstoke Acrobats is fully committed to promoting the well being of all members.
The club believes that it is important that all members, coaches, board members and parents associated with Revelstoke Acrobats should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.
A volunteer Board of Directors works to run Revelstoke Acrobats to the best of their ability. We encourage all members to have their concerns addressed by following the Complaint Protocol.
The Complaint Protocol is confidential and without prejudice towards the athlete or family.
If you have a complaint or concern, please follow the outlined steps:
- Privately discuss the issue with your child’s Coach at an appropriate time, outside of training time or when the Coach is not training other athletes.
If the concern cannot be resolved by your child’s Coach, you can then privately approach the Head Coach at an appropriate time, outside of training time and when the Head Coach is not training other athletes.
You can call the Revelstoke Acrobats office at 250-805-2309 to set up a time that works for both you and the Head Coach.
If the Head Coach is unable to resolve the issue, the issue will be presented to the Personnel Committee for discussion.
- A meeting will be set up between the athlete (if appropriate), parent, coach and Personnel Committee to discuss a resolution.
- Minutes of this meeting will be taken and reviewed by all parties to assure proper documentation.
- If a concern arises that must go directly to the Board of Directors, members are encouraged to contact the Personnel Committee.
