Our Coaches

Head Coach Jill

Jill became our Head Coach in the fall of 2017, and brings her passion for the sport to both the Recreational and Competitive programs and keeps our athletes on their toes!

Jill grew up doing competitive gymnastics in Nova Scotia.

She started coaching at the age of 12 and is now a fully certified Level 3 Trampoline and Artistic Gymnastics coach and has numerous years of experience with the Acrobats.

Jill also has a Kinesiology degree at Dalhousie University and puts those skills to work in our Club daily.

Jill has earned the trust and respect from all of our Acrobats and their families by providing a no nonsense approach to coaching, but maintaining a caring nature when dealing with each member of the Club.

Jill has coached all ages and all levels of athlete, and strives to keep her skills up to date, and adapting to the needs of the Club.

Assistant Coach Rianne

Rianne grew up in Alberta, where her home club was the St. Albert Gymnastics Club.

Gymnastics was the mainstay in her life for over 10 years. As a competitive artistic gymnast, she reached a National level, and in her teen years she took up coaching recreational gymnastics.

Rianne took a break from the sport but is excited to be back in the gym to train both Recreational and Competitive athletes.

She started with the Acrobats as a Level 1 coach and quickly gained the Level 2 trampoline coaching certification.

Gymnastics has taught Rianne a lot about dedication, perseverance, and strength of body and mind. She hopes that she can pass on those lessons in a fun, positive and active environment in her classes at the Acrobats.

Rianne has taken charge of some of our smallest and bravest pre-competitive athletes, and we know they are going to do great things!

Assistant Coach Kelly

Coach Kelly is a kid at heart! Goofy, high-energy and passionate about fitness. We love her energy with the kids.

Kelly grew up in Saskatchewan playing and coaching competitive sports throughout high school.

After college Kelly moved to BC and her passion for health and fitness grew into extreme personal sports and adventure.

After 6 years in the Okanagan working as a Fitness Coach and working with kids, she moved to Revelstoke to one day raise a family and keep pursuing her passions.

Aside from playing in many sports Kelly has been coaching young kids for many years.

Certifications Kelly currently holds include: Level 1 Trampoline Coach, Group Fitness Trainer, Personal Fitness Trainer, Aquacise Instructor, Stand-Up-Paddle-Board Instructor, and Fitness Nutritionist.

Kelly loves working with kids to inspire them to stay active and safe while growing up!

Assistant Coach Ainslee

Ainslee is our newest addition to the Acrobats coaching team, but her roots have always been with the Club!

Ainlsee is an Acrobat herself, having reached the National level herself. She knows well the hard work, dedication and commitment it takes to develop into a star athlete!

She is quick to learn from our other coaches, and her experience with training and competition has proven to be very useful in assisting today's Acrobats with training and mental preparedness.

Ainslee works with our Recreational and Competitive athletes and has quickly proven to be a great addition to our team, gaining the trust and respect of our athletes in short time.

We look forward to seeing more of Ainslee around the Club, watching her growth and are sure that each class she teaches and each athlete she coaches will be motivated!
