NO DEBT RESOLUTION TO IASS PENSION ISSUES FOR PENSIONERS!
AER LINGUS/DAA TAKES 175M FROM PENSIONERS WITHOUT CONSENT-
AN OUTSTANDING EMPLOYER DEBT
Nov 26 2014 - Govt refusing to allow amendments to Social Welfare legislation to correct the unilateral use of Pension wind up legislation & Airports legislation for pensioners in a Section 50 single insolvency/restructuring application/direction to reduce our pensions.
The Government has refused to allow for any democratic involvement for pensioners or an Appeal mechanism where EXISTING benefits of pensioners are being reduced
or allow for the following:
In situations where benefits are being reduced that legislation should provide for those in receipt of occupational pensions over normal retirement date at the time of the proposed reductions to allow for individual differences in the reductions taking into account the rate of contribution, nature of contribution and the duration of contributions by the individual towards their defined pension benefit.

These funds are NOT PART OF the IASS .
This means that the employers are not putting any funds into the IASS to address the deficit.
This point is made in the Introduction to the Expert Panel Report where it states that the employers will not contemplate, under any circumstances, investing any additional funding to address the deficit.
Pensioners will see an immediate cash reduction in their monthly pensions to fund this deficit from January 2015 with no access to employers separate compensation funds
