Remote Reiki for Japan on July, 3, 2011

In March 2011, the events in Japan shook us. The Reiki convention in Germany and many others have launched a major remote reiki action for Japan. On Sunday, July 3, in the morning, we joined forces with thousands of Reiki practitioners together! Shortly afterwards, the Japanese government decides to phase out nuclear power! Later that year it there was a similar decision in Germany.

My name is Marcel Blommers. I am a Reiki master and live in Basel area.
On this page you will find a short introduction of what Reiki is. I will gladly send you further information on courses and treatments on request.
At the beginning of 2000, I started my Reiki training with Marianne Zeller. I earned my first and second degree in Reiki and participated in various exchange meetings. Since 2008, I am Reiki master and since 2009 Reiki teacher. I received the master and teacher inaugurations of Susanne Alge.

What is Reiki ?
The term Reiki comes from Japanese and means universal (Rei) energy (ki). It means the energy that vibrates everywhere in the cosmos and nourishes everything living. Reiki is a millennium-old healing art, rediscovered at the end of the 19th century by Dr. med. Mikao Usui. Learning Reiki enables us to channel the universal energy and pass it on through the laying on of our hands.
How does Reiki work?
Reiki helps us to gain access to our natural life energy, gives us strength and well-being, increases our ability to perform, releases emotional blocks and promotes our inner growth process. Reiki has helped to alleviate or cure acute and chronic diseases and supports the healing process. Many doctors, naturopaths, masseurs, psychologists and homeopaths combine Reiki with their work and use it as a supplement. Reiki is easy to learn, can be used anytime, anywhere. Reiki is a spiritual way. It is traditionally taught in three grades.
