Outline of the course Mindfulness at the workplace
One of the greatest gifts of the current globalization is the opportunity to combine knowledge and wisdom from different cultures that were developed side by side. The western and eastern philosophies are very different and a merge of parts of these have developed into novel practices. Mindfulness and mindful practice as taught by Marcel Blommers have evolved from different traditional meditation techniques. Mindfulness at the workplace stimulates creativity and productivity because mindful practice increases focus. In addition, these techniques have a positive impact on mental health.
The course Mindfulness at the Workplace contains an educational part and a practical part. In the first part, various meditation techniques and themes are explained and explored. Implementation of mindfulness in daily life and at the workplace will be discussed on the hand of examples. In the second part, the group will be guided through a deep meditation.
