Reading Girl Scouts can use Camp Rice Moody for free.
CRM can be utilized by Reading and North Reading Girl Scouts for no cost most of the time. The camp is absolutely free Sunday at 10 am through Friday at 4 pm. From Friday at 4 pm - Sunday at 10 am a Reading GS can reserve the camp but if a group wishes to use the facility during these weekend hours and pay for it, the Reading group will be notified and if they wish to pay, they will keep the reserved time. If not, the Reading group will get bounced for the paying group.
This process has been in effect for a long time: “GSEMA will allow Reading and North Reading Girl Scouts the use of the Rice Moody program lodge and pavilion without cost. If a paying group/troop or council program reserves the program lodge or pavilion between 4pm on Friday through 10am on Sunday, the paying group will receive priority. It is suggested that if a Reading or North Reading troop/group would like to host an event during these times (Friday at 4pm-Sunday at 10am), they should pay for the building to guarantee access.”

Sweep the floor, empty all the trash and remove the trash bags and place them in the dumpster. Clean the table tops and counter tops.
Bring your own cleaning supplies, they are not supplied except trash can, trash bags, brooms, mops and pails. Bring paper towels and cleaning agent. If you are cooking and will need to clean any dishes, bring your own dish detergent and towels.
The bathroom should be cleaned, mainly floors swept, counters wiped, and trash emptied. If it is simply a troop meeting it is suggested that you limit your group to the use of one bathroom to save cleaning time.
There is a caretaker who lives there so please be respectful of their personal property.
Please do not leave behind leftover materials from your activities.
