The Spring 2013 Issue of Progressions will be dedicated to the students' view. Student peer-leaders in PLTL and closely related programs are invited to submit an essay reflecting on their experience as a peer-leader in the light of topics discussed in the peer-leader meetings or course. Selected essays will be published in the 2013 Issue of Progressions. The student author of the essay that is judged by a group of science educators and learning specialists to be most interesting and well written will be awarded a $250 stipend by the Center for PLTL, and their essay will be highlighted on the Center for PLTL web page.
Directions for Submission
The paper should include:
A description of the student's faculty mentor in the PLTL Program at their institution (appx. 100 words).
The student essay (appx. 500 words).
The paper can be submitted as a word file, emailed to gosserch@gmail.com. Deadline for submissions: January 30, 2013
