These are two presentations prepared for postgraduate students. The purpose of these lectures is to teach the basic principles of the Monte-Carlo simulation of light propagation in the turbid media and it's implementation in C. The C1 lecture gives the short introduction on the C programming language, while the C2 lecture covers the code originally written by Scott Prahl (http://omlc.ogi.edu).
