I am so pleased that you have come this far and I assure you that this orientation is almost done! Last but certainly not least you are expected to appropriately cite the sources that you use in all submitted work, using American Psychological Association (APA) format citations. This is the standard format for most behavioral science courses so many of you may already be familiar with it and how to use it correctly. However I understand that for many of you this will be your first time with APA so scroll down to read the answers to 6 of the most commonly asked questions about using APA in my class.

If you haven't figured it out yet, anything (other than common knowledge) that is not your own idea, comment, or conclusion should be cited with an appropriate in-text citation and full citation, or what is called a Reference list. Please note that you are not writing an APA paper. You are only using APA format citations in your submitted work therefore there is no need for a title page, running headers, or an abstract. Only use APA format for citations!
