This page is designed to make sure you, the parent/guardian, know about opportunities which your student may or may not tell you about. You are, for instance, far more likely to care about college scholarships than is your child. Nearly all of these are aimed at IT and/or STEM students, i.e. mathematics-oriented. PSSC has a scholarship list, as does DigiPen.

- 2011 November 18 - Real World Design Challenge is a team-based competition: Serious money, serious resume-stuffing, serious website.
- 2012 January 20 or 21 - College Goal Sunday at DigiPen Institute of Technology, where you can get help filling out the FAFSA, from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- 2012 February 1 - DigiPen President's Scholarship Program contest: Two months to submit a game. Up to two winners get 50% tuition waiver if GPA stays > 3.0 at DIT. The rules and timelines are below: 2012DigiPenPresidentScholarship.zip

- 2012 February 11 - SkillsUSA Regional Computer Programming competition, in Redmond @ DigiPen, the first step towards SkillsUSA scholarships.
