Health Sciences Mission
The mission of the Health Sciences Division at Southeast Community College is to provide affordable, accessible and a high quality educational environment to prepare individuals for careers in a variety of health professions.
The primary mission of Southeast Community College Polysomnography Technology Program is to prepare competent entry-level polysomnographic technologists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains.
Upon completion of the Polysomnography Technology Program, the student will:
Demonstrate the ability to comprehend, apply and evaluate clinical information relative to their role as a Polysomnography Technologist.
Demonstrate the technical proficiency in cognitive, psychomotor and affective learning domains necessary to fulfill their role as an entry-level, Polysomnography Technologist.
Demonstrate personal behaviors consistent with professional and employer expectations for a Polysomnography Technologist.
