For this year's two-day convention, the Philippine Society for Cell Biology invited speakers to tackle the applications of cellular biology in the field of medicine, agriculture, and industry. The subtopics that were highlighted included the utilization of technological advancements and innovative techniques in disease control, food safety, and genetics among others. A new segment was also added to this annual event which aims to give young scientists the opportunity to feature their own research discoveries in cellular biology.
The society also welcomes the new regular and life members who had given their oaths at the end of the conference. We hope that you can all join us again for the annual conventions and scientific meetings in the future. You are also invited to participate in organizational contests such as the poster competition to share your breakthroughs with fellow scientists and increase your chances of receiving amazing prizes!
