Cells and the Path to Recovery
Ateneo de Manila University, Katipunan, Quezon City
October 21-22, 2022
The body has an amazing ability to repair itself after an injury or illness. This is because it has enormous ways to recover from damage. There are various chemical and biological reactions that occur in the healing process. The specialized cells in the body such as neutrophils and monocytes are activated to perform different tasks to help control inflammation. Recovery from infection primarily involves controlling the spread of the infectious agent. Moreover, damaged tissues must be repaired and reconstituted. Up to the present, there is a need to better understand the underlying mechanisms that are involved in the recovery process from diseases. Thus, aid in finding appropriate treatment solutions which are needed to address them and restore homeostasis in various organisms, such as humans, animals, and plants. Therefore, the upcoming PSCB international conference will highlight the latest updates on the research findings related to the repair and recovery of cells in the skin, bones, muscles, and nerves among others with emphasis on immunological responses, and cellular and molecular therapeutic options.
