shall perform functions in accordance with the objectives and interests of the Association and likewise in other matters as required by the Board of Trustees. The specific functions are the following:
The Membership Committee shall take charge of developing the growth of the Association’s membership, conducting screening, recommending approval for the acceptance and termination of membership, updating the roster for all types of membership, and facilitating communications and notices for the annual membership meeting.
The Finance Committee shall be responsible for raising funds, providing programs for the proper usage and upkeep of the Association’s financial assets, facilitating communications pertaining to charges on collectibles, and projecting financial outlay for the Annual Scientific Conference.
The Scientific Committee shall take charge of the continuing professional education of members, facilitating conference programs, and screening and approving scientific papers for the Annual Conference.
The Training and Education Committee shall serve the Association as a training arm by conducting seminars and lectures about the cell and its use in research. Specific functions include managing internships, organizing webinars (MyCell Biography), and conducting workshops (Caravans).
