Examen pour les le lycée des Pontonniers : expérience d’une candidate-2010

A l’écrit : (1 heure)

questions de grammaire sous forme de QCM et texte à trous

rédaction : - soit faire une argumentation (« Are you for or against extreme sports ? »)

- soit un sujet d’invention (« Oh no ! my cell-phone has fallen down the stairs and is now broken ! What am I going to do ? » she thought... imagine the end of the story…)

A l’oral : (15 minutes)

Entretien : demande de motivations, qualités, défauts… puis à partir d’une image, faire un commentaire…

Réponse : Très favorable ou favorable ou défavorable.

Here is a document to help you revise for the test. It is important to prepare yourself.

1/How to describe a document:

a. This document is a photo in colour or in black and white/picture/painting/drawing/advert/comic-strip/cartoon...

b. The scene takes place in...

c. I can see ... characters: 2 girls and a boy/3 students/3 teenagers...

d. This document can be divided into ... parts:

e. Description: - physical description (age, build, clothes...)

- mood: he/she looks (sad, happy, angry, nice, tired, pretty...)

- activity: PRESENT BE + Ving (he/she is waiting for the bus...)

- hypothesis (maybe he/she is a journalist, a student....)

- opinion: In my opinion, I think...

f. Opinion: I like this document because.../ I don't like this document because...

I find this document interesting because it is about.../ I find this document boring (uninteresting/dull) because it is about....

I don't understand what the photographer wants to show...

2/How to make an interesting interview:

Introduce yourself:
