This was another of my very first coins, From the same batch as my first Elagabalus. However this coin was badly corroded and took quite a while to clean up even to the state that it is currently in. It took even longer to figure out who was on the reverse. The diameter is 25 mm and is 11.78 g, die axis 180. Minted in Nikomedia (Nicomedia), Bithynia 139-180. Wife of Marcus Aurelius, daughter of Antonius Pius and Faustina, Sr. Coin was listed as coming from Pautalia, Thrace (wikipedia) (wildwinds). This is probable, but I'll need to look at it further. From what I can see of the figures and where the legend lines up, possible similar to this Faustina II example from Roman Provincial Coins Online.

Macrinus was Praetorian Prefect to Caracalla, probably conspired to have Caracalla murdered and proclaimed himself emperor after Caracalla's death; appointed his son Diadumenian junior emperor in May 217. Both died 8 June 218 AD, Both executed in favor of Elagabalus.

Reference: Moush-36, Sear GIC 3874v, Cop-152, Varbanov 138 (R3). Note: Uncleaned Lot. AN VIIII (year 9 of the colonial era of Viminacium-247/248). The bull and the lion were the emblems of Legions VII and IV, which were stationed in Moesia Superior.
