Week 03 - GoogleTools

Intro

This week focuses on more of the tools available as part of a Google account. Many other companies offer similar sets of tools and resources but learning how to use Google's Tools will prepare you for using others if you choose. But they are convenient because you have a whole toolbox with one login

This week we will look at:

• • GoogleMaps (for more than searching)

  • GoogleEarth

  • Google SketchUp (just briefly)

Assignment

Tasks:

• 1. Update your GoogleSite

  2. Add at least 2 pages

     1. Places I love

     2. Calendar

  3. Add

     1. 2 Google Maps (1 we built in class)

     2. 1 Calendar with at least 5 events during the next month (1 should be a repeating event)

  4. Add any other enhancements you need to from last week

Reflection

Your reflection will consist of two things:

As your reflection list 10+ ideas for using Google tools in your classroom with a sentence or two explaining how it relates to Bloom's Taxonomy
