CARACTHERISTICS:
The songs are constituted by sounds synthesised by the composer. The sounds are generated by the Chromasound[1]. The Chromasound is a very peculiar sound generator, in the sense, of producing ambiguous sounds in terms of pitch. It will probably be easy to identify the musical note of the Chromasound, but it will be very difficult to determine the octave that belongs it.
Some songs sections recreate the auditory effect of the Shepard Scale Illusion (sensation of the sonic perpetuity). For instance, in MuNu_5, between the minute 0’00 - 1’30 e 2’45 - 3’12 (ascendant sensation of sonic perpetuity), or between the minute 1’35 - 2’20 (descendant sensation of sonic perpetuity), and in MuNu_6, between the minute 1’59 – 2’23 (ascendant sensation of sonic perpetuity).
The fact of the songs do not have lyrics, allows to the listeners to construct their owns stories or narratives. Consequently, I thought that I am contributing to fight the general idea, that the songs assume a coupled lyric, and simultaneously, to break down possible language barriers.
CONCERT (60 minutes).
