Use this Survey Monkey to send me the points you think you have earned from month to month. Please be sure to only include events and productions during the current school year. See the information below for details on what earns drama club points.
We are currently setting up a spreadsheet for keeping track of points for the 2025-26 school year, so be sure to take note of the things you have done so far this year to submit once the link is ready :)
The POP Drama Club is an extracurricular organization headed by the drama club officers under the guidance of the Theatre Director. The club is geared towards anyone who has an interest in theatre whether they want to be an actor or not. The club sponsors social events as well as takes field trips to different theatre events in our area.
HOW DO I BECOME A Drama Club Member?
Drama Club membership is granted to any individual wishing to support the POP Theatre Company. Specifically, students become members by attending meetings, paying the club fee, and continuing support and involvement in each and every production put on by the POP Theatre Company.
Drama Club hours and points should not be confused or compared with hours associated with the International Thespian Society point system.
The following are guidelines for the awarding of points:
· Attending a drama Club Meeting -1
· Bringing a friend -1
· Seeing A Show -1
· Attending a workshop -1
· Auditioning for a show -1
· Two Community Service Hours -1
· Being in a production -2
· Receiving ALL A’s for the grading period -2
Throughout the year there will be more ways to get points that are not provided on the above list. Please see the director for any events/tasks that you feel should earn drama club points.
As you earn points you become eligible for certain events and field trips that may be offered throughout the year.
