I firmly believe in lifelong learning. Careful inspection of the attached Ontario College of Teachers transcript reveals this. Since graduating with my B.Ed, I have completed eight additional qualification courses and one basic qualifications course, earning Honours grades in all. Although part of the motivation for completing these courses was to achieve a QECO rating statement of A4 this was not the only driving force. Two courses have been completed since achieving the A4 status, Religious Education, Part 1 and Guidance and Career Education Specialist. I chose to study the Religious Education course so that I could add additional tools to my toolkit for working with adults in crises. I currently hold specialist designations in both Special Education and Guidance and Career Education. I chose to pursue these because of the leadership training provided when completing additional qualifications at the Specialist level.
