As part of the PTC Community Service Initiative Dr Peter Tobin recently organised a tour for history enthusiasts to Mafikeng in the North West Province of South Africa.
The tour included visits to a number of sites in and around Mafikeng, with a focus on the Siege of Mafeking period of the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902. The photo below shows the group at the memorial outside the Mafikeng Museum.
