State Cost Share Programs

The Pamlico Soil and Water Department facilitates State Cost Share Programs that address resource concerns such as water quality and water quantity issues. Please contact our office if you are interested in participating in any of the State programs or would like more information.

Signup Periods:

• Initial Signup Period (July 1st through September 30th)

  • Applications received during this time will be ranked using a Ranking Form approved for the particular program of interest. Each application will be presented at the next Pamlico Soil and Water Conservation Board Meeting from the date of application.

• Subsequent Signup Periods (Monthly)

  • If all available funds are not used during the initial signup period, recurring monthly signup periods will begin the first day of month through the last day of each month. This will continue until April 30th or until all funds are exhausted.

The District has a cap of 20% of the Acriculture Cost Share Program fiscal year allocation per entity. Any remaining funds after January 31st, will be available for those who may have reached their cap.
