Fall Camp Out Oct 20th at KoA caddo mills

• It is time to start getting ready for our fall campout this year! We will be camping out as a pack at the KOA campgrounds in Caddo Mills on Saturday 10/20 and returning home Sunday morning 10/21. It is important that you register to join us as soon as possible so that we can get an accurate headcount. The absolute deadline for registration will be on 10/11 (the day after our pack meeting), but we would prefer you register sooner rather than later if at all possible using this link:https://sites.google.com/site/pack896activities/pack-event-registration/pack-fall-camp-out-at-koa Here are some additional details... We have the KOA reserved for Saturday October 20th.
• We can arrive anytime after 8 a.m. and checkout is Sunday at noon.
• Everyone pays at the door, it is $5 for everyone even younger than 5 years. This is regardless whether you stay overnight.
• No deposit required and no other fees to use anything on the KOA campground.
• If a family wants a cabin they need to call in to reserve it and say they are with PACK 896 to get the discount.
• There is an arcade at the campgrounds, but our pack has elected not to let our boys use it. We would much rather spend time with our boys outdoors since most of them probably get enough time with electronics in their daily lives.

I also want to point out that our pack chose this date and location to reduce the cost of camping for our scouts this year.
