Scouting for Food is one of many service projects the BSA has conducted since 1910.
The plan is simple:
1. Pick up door hangers at Roundtable or the Scout office in November.
2. Distribute door hangers in your neighborhoods on one weekend in November.
3. Pick up the food left outside of the homes on the following weekend and deliver it to a local food bank or pantry.
4. Log your efforts on the website or turn in the report form to the Scout office.
Participation in this good turn qualifies as a Messenger of Peace project.
Door Hangers will be available starting at the November Roundtables, then at the Scout Office.
