Tigers and their adult partners work together as they attend meetings together, go on adventures like field trips together, and complete requirements together.
The adult partner acknowledges the completion of each achievement part by marking it complete in Scoutbook (Akela’s OK). The den leader also marks it as completed in Scoutbook (Den Leader’s OK) and records progress in the den’s advancement records. The Tiger Scouts also keep track of their own advancement using the Adventure Tracking section in the back of their handbooks.
For Ages 6/7 or in 1st Grade
There are no girl Tiger scouts this year.
The boys Tiger den is led by: Greg McCulley
Greg McCulley's Scout is the Tiger Den Leader and the Popcorn Kernel for Oak Tree District. Greg's leadership began when he was stationed in Hawaii and was "asked" by his commander to take on the role of Chartered Org Rep, Committee Chair and Den Leader for the Pack and Troop there. He has also served as Den Leader in Colorado's Pikes Peak Council and a Cubmaster in a San Antonio Pack. He has 3 sons currently in Scouts and is involved in serving as Council Camp Director and District level positions.
To earn the badge of Tiger Cub, your scout needs a Tiger Handbook to begin working on the Tiger Trail. The requirements to earn the Tiger badge are
Complete each of the six required adventures:

Tiger Circles: Duty to God
Team Tiger
Tiger Bites
Tigers in the Wild
In addition to the six required adventures listed above, complete at least one elective adventure of your den’s or family’s choosing.
With your parent, guardian, or other caring adult, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide.
Earn the Cyber Chip award for your age. (The Cyber Chip portion of this requirement may be waived by your parent or guardian if you do not have access to the internet.)
Note to Parents
Your Den Leader will track the Den Activities and the "Go- See-It" activities for your cub scout’s achievements.
You should use the Scout Handbook to especially track each of the Family Activities. There are places to "Sign Off" on each activity in the handbook.
Use your handbook to track each of the family activities (among others) your scout completes.
Start a Scout Folder to store papers and projects as your scout completes them.
Bring the Handbook (and folder) to Den meetings to have your family activities recorded by the Den Leader.
