We are excited to see you exploring our cub scout unit! Our pack was established in 2004 in Boerne Texas and is chartered to the First United Methodist Church of Boerne.
Cub Scout Pack 102 welcomes all first grade to fifth grade boys and girls. All it takes is the desire to have fun, the wish to make new friends, and the drive to experience new things. All activities are grade-level-specific, so if your child is interested, we'll have activities designed specifically for their development level.
If you want to join us, feel free to stop by at any of our meetings or contact us for more information.
Starting at this early age our pack helps boys and girls learn important outdoor skills, appreciate the environment, stay safe and become good citizens while having lots of fun. Entire families are involved in pack life – mothers, fathers, grand parents and siblings (brothers and sisters).
Each week, your child will be involved in an ACTIVE meeting learning news skills and being with their friends!
Our objectives are citizenship training, character development, out-of-doors skills, respect, and personal fitness. In Cub Scouting, a framework is provided with guidelines upon which we build a positive growth foundation for a Scout to develop from being dependent to becoming independent. We provide this through a learning process that invites fun and excitement. By inserting fun and excitement into the learning processes our Scouts learn valuable life skills without knowing they are learning. That is when we know we are doing it right!
Pack 102 is full of campouts, hikes, bike rides, games and activities that help build that positive growth foundation in a fun exciting way.
