congratulate and wish bon voyage to US students heading to Cambridge and Oxford for the first time, and provide an opportunity to meet with alumni
welcome alumni joining the society as new members (note, new members attending the reception receive the first year of Society membership free).
The reception will take place 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday September 20th, at the Union Club of Boston at 8 Park St. The Union Club, in its wonderful setting overlooking Boston Common, is easily reached by public transportation (Park Street T-Station) and parking is available in the Boston Common Garage.
Both existing and new members of the Society and their guests are invited to attend, as are freshers (US students heading to Cambridge or Oxford for the first time). Parents of freshers are also welcome. For freshers, the event is free (parents however need to pay for tickets). Registration for the event is required for all attendees, for paid tickets please use this link to register and pay. To register as a fresher, please send full name, university/college, and email address to secretary@oxcamne.org.
The price of the event is $45 including hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. There will also be a cash bar. The price is $30 for students (those studying full-time in the 2017-18 academic year and those who graduated from full-time study in the 2016-17 academic year).
