Lillian Ruth Cunningham, 80, of Chaffee died Thursday , July 9, 1998, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born June 21, 1918, at Allenville, MO, daughter of John & Kathryn Gramlisch Spradling. She and WM. Hugo Cunningham were married Jan. 9, 1943. He died Sept. 22, 1972.

Cunningham had worked at Chaffee Nutrition Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star 48, Business and Professional Women and Ladies Auxiliary to UTU.

Survivors include two sons, Stephen Cunningham of Plano, Texas, Thomas Cunningham of Chaffee; one daughter Mrs. Mick (Linda) Wessel of Chaffee; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three great step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Burial was in Union Park Cemetery.

Ruth loved to dance and bowl.
