Reverse Engineering the Universe via Post-Structuralism

When I visited my son who was living Japan at the time, he took me to his favorite bar. Now the lady who owned the bar liked to do flower arranging. Since I had done some flower arranging as a hobby he asked her to describe how she designed her flowers. She said “Ichi, ni, san.” and then showed me how each floor arrangement was ichi ,ni, san. Ichi, ni, san means one, two, three; but to this flower arranging bar owner ichi, ni, san meant more than just one, two, three.

Interdisciplinary Studies

It appears that most if not all of our present problems are in the middle of tedious arguments of strongly apposing viewpoints. So we do not solve problems we make them worse. I believe this is caused by the fact that linear arguments of structuralism find no solutions, just stalemate. We need to look “outside the box”. We need to move away from stale linear arguments and approach the issues from a post-structuralist standpoint.

Post-structuralism needs to be:

Interdisciplinary;

Multidimensional;

Real, rather than abstract;

Focused on the whole issue and not just isolated parts;

Recognize how the seams between theories reflect the need for a different truth.

Then we can break down the barriers of thought and the complexities of description and open new aspects of the issues. Then and only then we can have a new world view. Then we will see things in greater depth.

This is post-structuralism.
