The Story Collector

It is now also a walk-around interaction, first created for the Hastings Storytelling Festival 2025, and now available to book with the collecting-cart for festivals, events and schools.

The Story Collector weaves together collected fragments to perform a storytelling.

For schools the Collecting Cart can fit in with your current topic or learning focus. This can be brought to you as a one-off workshop or as a project over longer term. Please get in touch to find out more and to discuss.

Examples, the cart can become:

A travelling library. Children/Audience fill the cart with their own stories.

A memory museum. Turn memories into stories. Discover the details of stories in your own memories.

A puppet house. Meet and make puppets.

A wardrobe (in the woods; in the street; on the corner) for exploring characters and place.

A snack cart in the clouds. For creating a drama scene.

And all are infinitely adaptable.
